With <a href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/\">Javier G\u00f3miz<\/a> you will have all of these, and more, at your fingertips.<\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>first aerial photographs<\/strong> of Mallorca that began to be seen left more than one person speechless.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Usually the photographers who took them were <strong>pilots of aeroplanes and ultralights<\/strong> who, taking advantage of their condition, were able to take never-before-seen snapshots.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Today this privileged range has increased thanks to the <strong>advent of drones<\/strong>, although this profession requires both <strong>formal training and experience<\/strong>. In the <a href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/about-javier-gomiz\/\">about me<\/a> section you can see that I have been an <strong>AESA certified drone operator since 2020<\/strong>, in addition to <strong>other accreditations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<div><iframe width=\"800\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JoH2JQtgrWQ?modestbranding=1&#038;rel=0;loop=1;controls=0\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-volar-un-dron-en-condiciones-de-seguridad\">Flying a drone safely<\/h2>\n\n<p>We already know that drones have a <strong>flight altitude limitation of approximately 120m or 400 feet<\/strong>, and <strong>a few other rules<\/strong> for <strong>safe flight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>A <strong>drone is nowadays defined by the acronym UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System)<\/strong>, which can be translated as &#8220;<strong>unmanned aircraft<\/strong>&#8220;. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Flying a drone is a <strong>serious business<\/strong>, and we take it as such. When flying a drone we find <strong>occupying part of the airspace<\/strong> and it may be that our flight plan will <strong>match that of other aircraft<\/strong> of different weights and sizes, so we always need to ensure that the <strong>piloting of a drone<\/strong> takes place under <strong>safe conditions<\/strong> and a detailed and careful <strong>pre-flight<\/strong> <strong>organisation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"562\" src=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/fotografia-aerea-con-dron.jpg\" alt=\"drone-photography-javiergomiz\" class=\"wp-image-1192\" srcset=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/fotografia-aerea-con-dron.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/fotografia-aerea-con-dron-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/fotografia-aerea-con-dron-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Drone photography<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>It may be that the area where you are requesting to fly is an <strong>area with limitations and restrictions on flying<\/strong> due to your location:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Less than 8kms from an <strong>aerodrome or airport (CTR)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a <strong>protected natural area (ENP)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a <strong>Restricted Flight Photographic Flights (RVF) area<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Being in a zone already <strong>reserved by another pilot through a NOTAM<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>In this case, it is necessary to start the <strong>procedure to apply for a permit<\/strong> <strong>to fly<\/strong>.
