Aerial panoramic photography<\/strong> is a photography technique<\/strong> carried out with a drone that consists of taking a certain number of photographs and then joining them together using different software<\/strong> available on the market in order to obtain a single final photograph<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Panoramic photography<\/strong> is a resource that is used to show more content in a single photograph<\/strong>, either because the focal point of the camera of the device we are using cannot cover everything.<\/p>\n\n

Normally, if you want to take a panoramic aerial<\/strong> or panoramic photograph<\/strong> of any kind, you should opt for lenses that do not distort the image at the edges<\/strong>, or lenses that cause you to lose the perspectiv<\/strong>e of the subject to be photographed. The recommended range<\/strong> of these lenses could be between 35mm and 85mm<\/strong> approximately. <\/p>\n\n

Using this range of lenses, the artificial intelligence<\/strong> of the software you will use more easily understand<\/strong> which parts of the photo match each other best, achieving spectacular results.<\/p>\n\n

Aerial drone photography<\/a> is very fashionable<\/strong> nowadays with the emergence of drones<\/strong> that can capture images that until recently were only available to very few. <\/p>\n\n

Being able to use drones<\/strong> for aerial panoramic photography<\/strong> has been a revolution. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

Many businesses are using this technique to be able to locate and frame their business<\/strong>, as from the air it is much easier to locate and get an idea of the location of a place<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

With Google Maps<\/strong>, a very powerful tool<\/strong> of Google Maps and Google Earth<\/strong>, we will be able to see panoramic views of the whole world<\/strong> from March 2023 (currently it can be seen with Google Street View), giving us an idea of the environment<\/strong> where we are. <\/p>\n\n

The use of drones<\/strong> for this type of photography is a great advantage<\/strong> as they can, by taking photographs on the spot, quickly and efficiently<\/strong> create 180\u00ba and 360\u00ba or equirectangular photographs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

Nowadays there are many devices with which to take equirectangular photographs<\/strong>. Your mobile phone is an example of a device with which you could get these equirectangular photographs.<\/p>\n\n

Equirectangular photography<\/strong> is a special type of 360\u00b0 panoramic photography<\/strong>, which is created in situ<\/em> by the device you are using.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

I say “special” because it is a photograph that will allow you, from a certain point that we choose, to have a total view of everything that surrounds you<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

A similar but different technique<\/strong> of image assembly is drone photogrammetry<\/a>. With this technique we will also obtain a 360\u00ba view<\/strong> of our surroundings, with the difference to equirectangular photography<\/strong>, where this view will be around <\/strong>specific item.<\/p>\n\n
