I think this drone will be, in the short term, the <strong>best value for money drone<\/strong>, if you want to do <a href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">drone photography and video<\/a> in a very professional way. I&#8217;ll keep telling you.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you are one of those who have the old<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/447wm0d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"> Mavic 2 PRO<\/a> and were hoping to<strong> upgrade your equipment<\/strong>, seeing the <strong>exorbitant price of the new Mavic 3<\/strong> when it went on sale a year ago, I understand that you decided to wait a little longer and stay with your old version of Mavic 2 or switch to the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/43Nl9C7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">DJI Air 2s<\/a>, which is not a bad option either.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>With the arrival of the <strong>DJI Mavic 3 Classic<\/strong>, it&#8217;s finally your time to <strong>take it to the next level<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>For newcomers to the world of drones, if you are one of them, the <strong>DJI Mavic 3 Classic<\/strong>, although it may seem obvious, weighs more than 250 grams, more specifically about <strong>895 grams<\/strong>, so it is not a <a href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/unlicensed-drones\/\">drone that you can fly href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/type-of-drones\/\">type of drones<\/a> as the <strong>finish and components are the same<\/strong>. It would be easy to confuse them if it wasn&#8217;t for the marking on one of the legs that says the name of the type of <strong>Mavic 3<\/strong> it is.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-camara-y-lentes\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Camera_and_lenses\"><\/span>Camera and lenses<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p>They are almost <strong>90-95% the same<\/strong> and <strong>the only difference is the camera<\/strong>. The camera has only <strong>one lens<\/strong>, unlike the <strong>Mavic 3<\/strong> model which has <strong>two<\/strong>, one on top of the other.<\/p>\n\n<p>As DJI has <strong>removed the telephoto lens<\/strong> from the <strong>Mavic 3 Classic<\/strong>, i.e. the top camera, the final design of the protective lens frame is different from the <strong>Mavic 3<\/strong>, going from having 2 &#8220;windows&#8221; to having only one. This makes sense, as the division of the two lenses would be in the centre of the new &#8220;Classic&#8221;, and other <strong>non-original markings<\/strong> such as those of the Freewell brand are <strong>also useless<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>camera features<\/strong> of the <strong>DJI Mavic 3<\/strong> are:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One 24 mm micro 4\/3 lens<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 162 mm 1\/2&#8243; medium telephoto lens<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>While the <strong>DJI Mavic 3 Classic&#8217;s<\/strong> <strong>camera<\/strong> has:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One 24 mm micro 4\/3 lens<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No secondary telephoto lens<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/photo-video-drone-services\/video-aerial-dron\/\">Drone video<\/a> <strong>recording<\/strong> is done in <strong>5.1K at 50 fps, 4K at 120 fp<\/strong>s. The <strong>Mavic 3 can withstand wind speeds<\/strong> of up to <strong>12m\/s or 43km\/h<\/strong> (category 5).<\/p>\n\n<p>This drone is one of the drones used in <a href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/drone-show-mallorca\/\">drone shows<\/a> because of its robustness and reliability in withstanding strong winds during these <a href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/photo-video-drone-services\/dron-events-recording\/\">drone events<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re wondering <strong>which category the Mavic 3 Classic falls into<\/strong>, this <a href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/type-of-drones\/\">type of drone<\/a>, weighing the 895 grams I just mentioned, would fall into the C1 category. It also comes with the seal, which previous DJI versions such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3N3YjPQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Mavic Air 2s<\/a> do not.<\/p>\n\n<p>They have the <strong>same options during the flight<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flying time of 46 minutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hyperlapses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>180\u00b0 and 360\u00b0 <a href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/photo-video-drone-services\/aerial-panoramic-photography\/\">panoramic photo<\/a> mode, or equirectangular photos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Active track<\/em> 5.0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>360\u00b0 obstacle avoidance sensors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>This drone is <strong>simply perfect<\/strong> and the essential tool for imaging professionals seeking <strong>excellence<\/strong>. Whether it&#8217;s the <strong>DJI Mavic 3<\/strong>, the <strong>DJI Mavic 3 Classic<\/strong> or the <strong>DJI Mavic 3 CINE<\/strong> (the most expensive version of all Mavic 3 models), you can carry out any type of <a href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/photo-video-drone-services\/dron-events-recording\/\">drone event<\/a> or any <a href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/projects\/\">project<\/a> you may have in mind with the greatest of guarantees.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-novedades-en-el-mavic-3-classic\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Whats_new_in_the_Mavic_3_Classic\"><\/span>What&#8217;s new in the Mavic 3 Classic<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>Well, it brings some <strong>new features<\/strong> compared to its other siblings that were not standard, but with <strong>future software updates<\/strong> I&#8217;m sure they will all be brought up to the same level. These characteristics are:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Night mode<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>This is <strong>the most interesting feature<\/strong> of these new developments. This can range from a <strong>simple trajectory<\/strong>, such as up and down, to a <strong>complex trajectory<\/strong> involving both joysticks of the controller.<\/p>\n\n<p>This option <strong>can be assigned<\/strong> as a <em>shortcut<\/em> to one of the buttons on the remote control.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Class marking<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>In Europe the <strong>Mavic 3 Classic<\/strong> finally comes with the <strong>class marking<\/strong>, <strong>C1<\/strong>, so it seems that drone marking will finally be <strong>implemented in future drone launches<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>ISO 1600 at D-log and HLG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>With the <strong>DJI Mavic 3 Classic<\/strong> comes the ability to raise the maximum <strong>ISO up to 1600<\/strong>. This special feature of <strong>being able to use the zoom is a plus<\/strong> that, in my opinion, has to be paid for.<\/p>\n\n<p>After this comparison, which drone would you choose between the two?
