We have a new “mini” at home: the new DJI Mini 4 PRO<\/strong> has been released, and for the first time I am seriously thinking about adding a “Mini” to my work team at Javier G\u00f3miz<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

This drone promises to be the total drone<\/strong> for drones under 250 grams<\/strong>, which, as we already know, have the quality of being drones that can be flown without a licence<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

The new features<\/strong> of the DJI Mini 4 PRO are very interesting and very useful. When we thought that the previous model, the DJI Mini 3 PRO<\/a>, could not be improved, this new drone surprises us with utilities applicable to both recreational and professional<\/strong> terrain, thus becoming a precision device usable in photogrammetry with drones<\/a> by incorporating the possibility of making \u201cwaypoints\u201d without the need for external applications to program your flights with the drone<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

I will now take a closer look at its features, compare it with the previous Mini 3 PRO and discuss it in more general depth.<\/p>\n\n

This drone came out to combat regulations and have fewer flight restrictions than its bigger brothers.<\/p>\n\n

Until before the new Royal Decree it has been able to fly without communications but from June 25, 2024, date that this RD came into force, to fly this Mini 4 PRO in population centers<\/strong> you must make a communication to the Ministry of Interior<\/a>, and very important that you have clear the new geographical areas of UAS<\/a> that have been updated with this new Decree as well.<\/p>\n\n
