In the DJI Air 3s there are no major changes in terms of design, apparently, but there are <strong>new features<\/strong>, as it incorporates two major innovations. <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Its new camera with a <strong>1\u201d sensor <\/strong>and brighter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>LIDAR sensor<\/strong> with which begins a new way of detecting the environment, how it combines with all 360 sensors and their hardware.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The LIDAR sensor is unique to this day for the Air 3s among all DJI drones.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Both DJI models are highly popular among <a href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/photo-video-drone-services\/drone-photography\/\">aerial photography<\/a> enthusiasts and videographers, but what are the key differences between them? The DJI Air 3, launched as part of the Air series, has long been a favorite thanks to its advanced features and exceptional performance. <\/p>\n\n<p>However, the arrival of the <strong>DJI Air 3s<\/strong> has piqued the interest of many, and it is crucial to understand what this new model has to offer. class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong>lidar sensor <\/strong>has finally arrived in DJI drones, and it has done so with the privileged Air 3s as the only protagonist.<\/p>\n\n<p>Normally the <strong>obstacle detection<\/strong> sensors work up to 15 lux of luminosity and this drone can operate under conditions of <strong>1-5 lux<\/strong>, to give you an idea, it can capture the brightness of a candle at a distance of 1m.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sensores-y-deteccion-de-obstaculos\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sensors_and_obstacle_detection\"><\/span>Sensors and obstacle detection<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p>This Air 3s brings improvements in the <em>Activetrack<\/em> and in the <em>RTH<\/em>, being able to have a more controlled and safer return to home since it is able to trace a non-linear trajectory previously recorded in its output, a real madness, really.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you are looking to perform <strong>object tracking work with drones<\/strong>, such as in <a href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/photo-video-drone-services\/drone-video-advertising\/\">audiovisual productions<\/a> for film or television, this drone is the most equipped drone today of the entire range of drones that DJI has.<\/p>\n\n<p>The sum of its <strong>lidar sensor<\/strong>, its <strong>obstacle detection<\/strong> system with all the sensors distributed throughout the drone and its <strong>advanced and renewed hardware<\/strong>, makes it able to <strong>avoid obstacles<\/strong> at higher speeds, from the front at 54km\/h, and flying backwards or laterally up to 50km\/h, and with any of the 2 cameras.<\/p>\n\n<p>During obstacle tracking, the configurable \u201cdistance circles\u201d already included in the <a href=\"https:\/\/javiergomiz.com\/en\/dji-mini-4-pro\/\">Mini 4 PRO<\/a> are maintained, allowing you to change the position of the drone with respect to the object it is tracking in
